Brit Hume Nail’s It: Obama’s Foreign Policy, It’s All About Obama
September 4, 2013
If you did not see Brit Hume’s comments on the Obama administration’s plans for Syria, you missed an outstanding and succinct observation of where Obama currently finds himself.
In less than 3 minutes, Hume manages to point out the hypocrisy that is the Obama administration.
The president and his democrat brethren who overwhelmingly support Syrian military action are members of the same party who repeatedly excoriated George W. Bush for his 2003 Iraq invasion even though President Bush was able to create a coalition of 49 countries, including Great Britain who refuses to join Obama on Syria.
To use Obama’s 20 year pastor Rev. Wright’s words, Obama’s “chickens have come home to roost”. When your arrogance knows no bounds, and you treat U.S. Allies with contempt while embracing those who hate our nation, you find yourself in Obama’s current position – boxed in by his own words.
As Mr. Hume so succinctly puts it, “he finds himself going hat-in-hand to Congress to obtain authority he says he doesn’t need to engage in the kind of unilateral intervention he once decried”.
