Citizen Journalist Breaks YUGE Clinton Email News
This story is YUGE, and it will not be covered by the mainstream media.
The story is a bit detailed, and as much as I love to write, I will reign myself in and attempt to tell you about the latest development in the Clinton email scandal as clearly and succinctly as possible.
Platte River Network is the Denver based company tasked with maintaining Hillary Clinton's email server during her tenure as Secretary of State.
The selection of Platte River was a surprising choice as they were considered more of a mom and pop shop without the security clearance necessary to handle such a task.
Paul Combetta is an employee of Platte River Network who was given immunity by the Department of Justice for his cooperation in the FBI's investigation of Hillary Clinton and whether her use of said private server compromised national security.
Why?
Paul Combetta was the employee who used Bleachbit to delete Hillary Clinton's emails.
The House Oversight Committee requested and received the notes from the FBI's investigation of Hillary Clinton where they learned of Mr. Combetta's testimony regarding his role in the deleted emails.
After the conclusion of the FBI's investigation into Hillary Clinton, the House Oversight Committee began a broader investigation into whether Clinton ordered the destruction of emails that had been subpoenaed by the Benghazi Select Committee.
According to the FBI notes, on July 23, 2014 the Benghazi Select Committee reached an agreement with the State Department regarding the production of records which would include all Clinton work related emails.
The YUGE development::
On July 24, 2014, a user who identified themselves as Stonetear reached out on Reddit for help with how to 'hide' a VIP client's email. An exerpt from the Stonetear Reddit post follows, the entire thread can be read here.
Stonetear: Hello all- I may be facing a very interesting situation where I need to strip out a VIP's (VERY VIP) email address from a bunch of archived email that I have both in a live Exchange mailbox, as well as a PST file. Basically, they don't want the VIP's email address exposed to anyone, and want to be able to either strip out or replace the email address in the to/from fields in all of the emails we want to send out.
I am not sure if something like this is possible with PowerShell, or exporting all of the emails to MSG and doing find/replaces with a batch processing program of some sort.
Does anyone have experience with something like this, and/or suggestions on how this might be accomplished?
Stonetear: As a PST file or exported MSG files, this could be done though, yes?
The issue is that these emails involve the private email address of someone you'd recognize, and we're trying to replace it with a placeholder address as to not expose it.
Of note, Paul Combetta's email address in 2014? You guessed it, Stonetear@gmail.com.
As interesting as all of this is, it means nothing unless someone holds Hillary Clinton and/or her team accountable.
According to The Hill, accountability may be in process as the House Oversignt Committee is currently investigating the Reddit thread to determine its authenticity, none of which would be possible without a citizen jounalist who goes by GOPPollAnalyst on Twitter!
